A few years ago I had the good fortune of listening to a keynote presentation by Sir Ken Robinson, author of Out Our Minds: Learning to be Creative and The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything.
The focus of that earlier presentation was on the need for changes in our educational system to keep up with the new realities in our national and international economies. One of Sir Ken’s major thesis was that our educational system stifles the very creativity that we need to foster in order to compete globally.
Below is a link to a very creative visualization of another Sir Ken presentation. Worth watching for the visual representation alone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v/zDZFcDGpL4U.
